Alison GinterExecutive Director![]() Alison Ginter is executive director of North Midland Family Center, an operating unit of Greater Midland Community Centers, Inc. She joined GMCC in 2001 as youth manager at the Midland Community Center. In 2009, she became a program director, responsible for youth and adventure programs, child care, and camps. Alison was promoted to her current role in 2010. Alison has a long history of outdoor achievements, including camp director, American Camp Association camp visitor, and Master Angler. She is a 2007 graduate of Leadership Midland, a member of the Leadership Midland Alumni Association, and has been a three-time nominee for the Gerstacker Award. She has served on numerous civic committees and boards, including the Midland County Child Protection Council, Youth Leadership Midland, and Partnerships in Education. Alison began her non-profit career with the Girl Scouts of Mitten Bay as Program and Tripping Director for Camp Oak Hills, and is a lifetime member of Girl Scouts of America. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Resources from Michigan State University. Alison resides in Midland with her son, Thomas. Staff
