Licensed childcare is available throughout the year for children six weeks of age through 12 years old.  This program offers a wonderful opportunity for working parents to access affordable, high quality care for their children.  The program operates Monday - Friday from 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM.  Call the Director of Programs for information on program philosophy, financial assistance, and registration information.

Payment and Scheduling

Half days will have two time slots:
6:30 AM - 12:30 PM  or  12:00 - 6:30 PM
If your child does not fit in one of the two time slots, a floating six hour time block is available at the half day rate.

Half Days Daily Fee
Infants/Toddlers:
1st child:  $22.00, Additional children:  $20.00

Three Years and Older:
1st child:  $18.00, Additional children:  $15.00

 Full Days Daily Fee
Infants/Toddlers:
1st child:  $32.00, Additional children:  $30.00

Three Years and Older:
1st child:  27.00, Additional children:  $23.00

 

Preschool 

Threes Developmental Preschool Program
Tuition based three year old developmental preschool program at Nort Midland Family Center.  Our three year old program provides a warm, nurturing environment that is developmentally appropriate and encourages the growth of the whole child.  This program uses the Creative Curriculum which is endorsed by the State of Michigan Department of Education.  The program offers children the opportunity to develop social, cognitive, and physical skills with a strong emphasis on language and literacy.

Children must turn three years old by December 1st to qualify.  This is a tuition based program.  Affordable wrap around childcare is available.  Space is limited.  Financial assistance may be available to those who qualify.

 

Threes Preschool Weekly Fee $27.00
Program offered Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Noon)

Financial assistance is also available for many working parents through the Department of Human Resources (formerly Family Independence Agency).

 

                          

 

Great Start Readiness Program
(Formerly Michigan School Readiness Program)

Free School Readiness Preschool classes are available for four year old children at North Midland Family Center.  The program offers children the opportunity to develop social, cognitive, and physical skills in a comfortable and supportive environment through the use of Creative Curriculum, which is endorsed by the State of Michigan Department of Education.

Children must turn four years old by December 1st to qualify.  Classes are available regardless of income level and free bussing is available.  Affordable wrap around childcare is available as well.  Space is limited.  To get a registration form mailed to you call:  Quality Preschool Partnership at 1-866-914-3700.

Success By Six Playgroups       

The North Midland Family Center is home to playgroups for parents and their preschool age children (ages 0-5).  Every week you and your child may participate in a range of activities, crafts, games, snacks, and stories based upon different themes.  This is a great opportunity to have fun with your child and spend time with other parents.  For more information on playgroup themes and activities, please call 689-7770.
